The Now

_______________________________________________________________________________________

(If we have the wherewithal to ask a question and the willingness to look for the answer, we can know.)

Who are we? What are we? Where do we come from? What are we doing here? What is Creation? Purpose? Life? Death? Eternity? Meaning? – At present, about these questions, religion (a ‘God’) and science (an unknown ‘Force”) enounce most of the answers. But are the answers given applicable? What if they were not?

What if what governs us and the universe is not an external, pre-time, pre-space ‘Spirit’ or ‘Force’ but ‘the Now’? The Now being a ‘Formula’. A Formula/ Source/ Mind enacting into matter/form/body a single present instant. No past. No future.

No ‘Day One’ of ‘Creation’.
No space-time continuun.
Only a Now.

…. …. …. ….

I was born free,
in a nature of intricate beauty,
and dismaying upheavals.

(A Natural Philosophy p. 1)

…. …. …. ….

It is now.

MOVING THE DATE AND THE TOTALITY  OF ‘CREATION’ FROM PAST TO PRESENT:

It is now. It is now. It is now.
It is always now.
It has always been now.

There never was a beginning to the Now.

Who/What created the Now?
No one. Nothing.

…. …. …. ….

The Now is a constant.
It exists in only one instant.
An eternal “present”.

…. …. …. ….

The Now is a “Formula/Source”.
The formula is knowable.

…. …. …. ….

The Now is still. For the Now to remain Now it must remain motionless. It is never yesterday or tomorrow. Or even a second from now. Stillness is the essence of the Now.

The Now is everywhere. For an “everywhere” to be, to exist, to be traversed, to be measured, to know about itself, the Now must be/have substance. Existential Now is substance.

As there is but one instant, it is not essence first and substance second, essence is substance, substance is essence, they exist simultaneously.

The Need of the Now to exist, to be, to be form is at Source a blueprint maker. Needs write the blueprints of what is to be made, to be ‘created’.

All is still.
Yet, all is moving (at least appears to be moving).

Essence transforms into substance… in situ, in one place. One is the other. (Think of water becoming ice.) (One is the other.)

…. …. …. ….

Free from a past, the Now has no Cause. Unable to move into tomorrow, the Now creates no “effect”. We do not live in a cause to effect universe.

…. …. …. ….

What is happening in this very moment: The structure.

The Now as ‘Formula’ or Principles:

Principles are “ways”.
(Hows) which enact the (why).

The why is the need of the Now to be form. Every way (Principle) acts simultaneously with all others. – To manifest needs into forms, the Now has to move out of stillness. Not a simple feat!

…. …. …. ….

The first Principle: Life/Death.

How does the Now move without moving?

The beginning:

The need of the Now to become substance “form” pushes essence into a pulse: (Blip!): A spark, a form, a fragment of a form is created.

LIFE.

… … …

The end:

AT THE VERY SAME TIME… stillness stops the forward moving pulse. The space/form collapses. Life is ends.

DEATH.

As it is conceived , the forms ends.

*

The second Principle: Breath.

Existence

The middle:

The all-powerful need of the Now to be form returns… with more energy/force/power. In the same space, Life pushes upon Death, a space opens.

We inhale.

For a time, the need of the Now to be (form) keeps the space opened. DURATION! But the absolute necessity of the Now to be still pulls back on the (form), the space collapses, time ends.

We exhale.

*

Life/Death… simultaneous, continuous/discontinuous, go/stop, on/off is existence’s matrix, breath, heartbeat, pulse.

…. …. …. ….

“To and fro, every human being dances until body and mind fold back into essence. To and fro, every tree, every flower, and every blade of grass dance until water, soil, and sun run no longer through their roots and leaves. To and fro, every sun dance until it can no longer separate morning from night and all that was under its care has dried up. To and fro, every life-form dances until the thought that conceived it fades into the Source. And then, all begins anew. And in this instant.”

From a first “Breath/Matrix/Way”, other “ways” follow.
