Is morality good or bad for you? (The bottom line, it is not good.)
Morality is said to be the greatest achievement of mankind. Morality gives human beings “laws” to live by. Laws given by a “God”. Without these laws, it is advanced, we would quickly become derelicts incapable of sustaining a viable “self” or society. As individuals, we would fall into depravity and as a society we would be at each others throats. It would be the end of civilization.
But there is a problem:
At the moment of conception, nature inscribes in each and every human being its own laws. (Laws: patterns formed by the “raison d’etre” of nature). No matter what is said… no one… has the power to change these patterns.) They are incorporated into the very fabric of your existence… moment by moment, day by day, dream by dream, though by thought, and action action. And they are inscribes in every external occurrences you encounter during your entire life.
They are the same through out infinite space. And their duration spans this single moving eternal instant.
But religious ideologies teach that these natural laws make human beings wicked, corrupted, and defective… and that they go in opposite direction to the will of the “God”. Human natural laws are to be eradicated and replaced by divine laws: morality. But as everything in you is genetically stamped, you continuously fail in your obedience to “change” and follow the will of the deity… thus… you are proclaimed a sinner.
To moralists, what is… “good” and “bad”…. “right” and “wrong”… and how you should think, want, act (react), and be is set in “absolutes”; nature’s “judgement” is set… instant by instant, moment by moment… by the demands of creation, maintenance, and deletion. Morality’s rules are implanted in people’s minds after birth. Nature’s rules creates you.
Therefore, morality’s attempts at your de-naturalization is a futile endeavor. All you get is confusion, guilt, incomprehension, submission, and the destruction of your self-esteem. You are made to forget that you are a natural being living in a natural universe. You become a fake “spiritual” being. You walk your life in a daze. In a dream-trance. Unable to make heads or tails of who you are. Many say that without morality, you would fall. Actually, you would rise. You would feel a sense of belonging, a sense of oneness with the cosmos, with the earth, with the forms of nature, and with people. You would learn about your true nature.
You would become real.
As we formulate a thought, cast a desire into the future, put one foot ahead of the other, intelligence and common sense demand that we know the identity and the ways the grand cosmic Source that we are a part of, enacted by, and trusted forward through?
It is said that… as we are human beings… we first are…
Sapient (knowledge): Upon a Primary Foundation is built our existence’s knowledge… concepts, principles, laws, rules, definitions. From the moment we open our eyes and ears family, friends, places of worship, education, governments, the entertainment world, the news media, the “internet”, set and maintain these foundational coordinates in our mind.
And then, in second place, it is said that… we are…
Sentient (senses): Each concept, definition, rule, law, comes charged/ embedded with a value, a value of good and bad, of right and wrong. Values are our internal mind sense. Feeling our roots, we enact desires, thoughts, actions… make choices, decide, judge, assess, analyse, accept, reject, move forward, retreat, delay, reward, punish… laugh, cry, hate, love.
Meaning and purpose: Meaning comes from connection. As we reflect, as we think, we connect values with knowledge, body with mind, world with Source. To be meaningful, the Source accessed has to be true has to be real. Meaning is at oneness with truth, with reality. Then we can walk with meaningful purpose. At one, we are at peace.
We are our roots.
Who or What is our Primary Foundation? Religion, for millennia, has been promoting the idea that the Creator of mankind and of nature, the universal Primary Foundation, is a God. Mankind is above nature. But nature holds a possessive and “sensory” grip on the “soul” of man. Nature pulls us down. God lifts us up. What is good, and right belongs to God. Nature condemns us to the lawlessness of evil and what is inherently wrong. God is life. Nature is matter. The more we desensitize ourselves from our natural nature, the closer we get to our “divine” nature. Thus the purpose and meaning of life.
But, was a God the Originator of all that exists?
Is there even a God?
Many through intuition or reason sense that something does not add up with religion. And those who hesitate turn to science for answers. Science, in a thousand fields, has found a thousand answers. But here science is at a loss; it sees fingerprints but not the Originator. It cannot confirm nor dismiss. Which leaves the religious devotees to claim: (There is (could be) a God” and the skeptics to propose: “There (probably) is no God”. Without an Originator, without an identifiable Source Foundation, we cannot define, even ascribe, purpose and meaning to our existence. In a grand void, our mind is left to twirl its philosophical thumbs, pursue nihilism, or simply continue to be as spiritual, as good, and as moral as believers.
“Could be” and a “probably”. are none answers; they are invitations to seek beyond. Yet, when we begin to look, when we ask beyond, we are told that no one can know. What if that was, to use a popular expression, “fake news”? What if we could know? What if there were answers? (And… the answers are not going to be “mainstream”)
MAKING TIME: A shift of paradigms:
A book: Many years ago, weighed down by the disconnect between what was “spiritually” taught and what was “naturally” felt, I began a search for truth authentication. This pursuit lead me to two covered and mostly forgotten “tracks” (paradigms). The first identified the origin of the Being we call God and the second explored the structure of existence. Along the way, I wrote reflections, discoveries, notes, and the “what does it all mean?” in a book: A Natural Philosophy.. – A Natural Philosophy is available on Amazon
A NATURAL PHILOSOPHY: AN OVERVIEW:
THE FIRST PARADIGM (SHIFT):
How have we come to believe in the existence of a God?
We go back to the days of old, to days of the gods/God.
“… the heavens opened (high in the sky something came forth)… a whirlwind (spacecraft) came from the north… a great cloud… fire… wings… fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning (engine)… a wheel in the mist of a wheel… I heard the noise of their wings… a throne (seat).. upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man…. and I heard a voice of one that spake.” Ezekiel, chapter one. – “You shall have no other gods before me”. Exodus 20:3 – “… the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives….” Gen 6:2
Why can’t a wing be a wing, a wheel a wheel, a man a man, gods god(s)? What if instead of re-coding the “difficult” passages into “metaphors” and “allegories”, we were to read the ancient source documents like the Bible, the Enuma Elish, the Mahabharata, the Popol Vuh, as they were/are written?
“The first fact we face when we begin to survey the historical documents is that there was not only one “God” but many gods, present on earth, in those days. Yet, we have made it dogmatically “untouchable” to admit to the existence of other gods; we have brushed them under the truth’s carpet. We want all these gods to be imaginary. Our history books present them as mythological figures. Images in dreams. – We have turned a magnificent past into illusions and fairy tales. The second fact that becomes quickly evident when examining the ancient documents is that the gods, including our “God”, were beings of flesh, blood, and bones. It is only with the passage of the millennia that the gods became ethereal figures. And the third fact that the same texts make clear – the truth that confuses us so much and has sent us into astronomical loops over the millennia – is that the gods descended unto earth, from the heavens. The heavens being the skies above our heads”. A Natural philosophy p. 190, 191.
Note: The ancients did not refer to the visitors as “aliens” but as gods. Gods who built their homes (temples) out of megaliths. Gods who flew through the skies aboard chariots of fire, vimanas, and a variety of other flying crafts. Gods who demanded of their progeny obedience, service, and worship.
After a time on earth, the gods departed. People lifted their eyes upward and scrutinized the heavens. And, they waited… prayed… remembered… offered sacrifices…Thus began… and the long wait for the return of the magnificent ones… and the transformation of facts into memories, into reconfigured stories, into religions. – Over the generations, over the millennia, the descent of gods from the sky unto earth, their accomplishments, their relationship with humanity and their “words” have been reinterpreted and distorted to the point of being completely unrecognizable. And, with more time, more isolation, more reinterpretation, more refining, one of the many gods, a being issued from the womb of nature, was raised to the high post of “Supernatural” Supreme Being: (God).
And that was/is God. For certain.
Origin. Concept. Name. Idea. Definition. Locale.
The words of the gods/God, no matter their inerrant wisdom and historical accuracies/ inaccuracies, were/are about the relationship and the day to day interactions between powerful ruler gods and their charge. These ancient directives, even though important to the people of those days, even to the people of today, have very little if nothing at all to do with who we are at Source.
Religion assumes a world created in one piece by a specific Originator (a Person/ God). Creation is rigid, unchanging, unchangeable. Freedom from God’s will in the end is not possible. Turning to science. In its basic tenets, science is the twin of religion. Science imagines a world created also in one piece on a very specific “First Day” a very long time ago by a yet to be confirmed Source (a Person or a Force). Except here, change (as in evolution) is accepted. But the change remains the subject of the Primary Cause’s matrix. A break from this attachment is not possible. Freedom in the end is not possible. – And, round and round, in circle we run. Millennia pass, the status quo is maintained.
What if we simply stopped running?
What if, not only the Originator (God/Force), but the First Day also never existed?
THE SECOND PARADIGM (SHIFT):
What is the date of creation?
Think about it: It is now. It is now. It is now. It is always now. The only all-encompassing substance-able, evidence-able, “thing” that is always “there/here” is the Now. Therefore, the Now comprehends beginning, middle, and end… past, present, and future. The Now never began. The Now will never end. There will always be a Now.
The Now is the Primary Foundation,
The Now is the Primal Source.
The Now is the Creator.
Having always been, the Now is eternal.
Being everywhere, the Now is infinite.
Creation creates creation.
The matrix: In its totality, completeness, wholeness, the Now is ONE. In its multiplicity of forms, the Now is all. One into all incessantly, infinitely. divides. All into One incessantly, infinitely return. To divide implies motion. Except that the Now cannot move. The Now cannot jump ahead of itself. The Now must remain still. The mechanism: As One divides into all… at the same time… all collapse into One. A pulse is emitted… Life… at the very same time… a counter pulse is emitted… Death. Thus, everywhere… continuously, incessantly… Life/Death, Life/Death, Life/Death.
The Now is a singular Source/event engendering a binary pulse/Source. The Now cannot not be. This having to become from not being creates the “spark of Life”. Followed by the extinguishment of the spark. Yet…
Existence: All become. All disappear. Yet… something (a residue) remains. A middle: Creation, existence. How? At the moment that Life is erased by Death… Life comes back stronger… with more Power, with more Force… and… pushes against Death… a space opens… we inhale… Death comes back with more Power/ Force… pulls back Life… the space collapses… we exhale. Vibration by vibration, fragment by fragment… after being born, the Now holds for an instant, an hour, a decade, a century, a millennium…. universes, rivers, grains of sand, thoughts, people… and… at the same time and over time, all collapses. The middle, the residue, is where the battles for form and duration (space and time) occurs.
The space/time residue, this filament of presence, is what we call the memory.
In this single present (memory) instant, the Eternal and the Infinite become temporal and finite… the temporal and finite become Eternal and Infinite. – “To and fro, every human being dances until body and mind fold back… into One. To and fro, every tree, every flower, and every blade of grass dance until water, soil, and sun run no longer through their roots and leaves. To and fro, every sun dance until it can no longer separate morning from night and all that was under its care has dried up. To and fro, every life-form dances until the thought that conceived it, fades into the Source. And then, all begins anew. And in this instant.” (A Natural Philosophy p. 44 )
As the binary pulse comes back, patterns of becoming, of maintenance, of ending can be detected, identified, named. The patterns are the laws of existence. The laws of nature. Our human laws. From these patterns, we are able to decipher the rules of the Game of existence. Understanding the Source, we can make sense of our existence and the world around us. Games of life, death, renewal, survival, letting-go, fighting back, winning, are always at play.
Everywhere is the center of the Now. Every speck of cosmos is a center at the center of the Now. You are a center at the center of the Now. There are infinite numbers of centers. Through a multitude of games… games of mind, games of body, games of soul… we become, we remain, we end.
No one and nothing is external to the Now. “Nature (the Now) is the many forms travelling every which way within the Source. Nature is the “manner of being” of the many forms of the Source. Nature is the way of the Source. The nature of the Source is the nature of all things. Your nature is of the nature of the Source. Your nature is of the ways of the Source. All of the Source’s ways are natural. There is no such thing as an unnatural Source or an unnatural way. There are no unnatural dreams. There are no unnatural thoughts. There are no unnatural words. There are no unnatural acts. There are no unnatural paths. There are no unnatural travelers. Nothing is unnatural. Nothing. Not good. Not bad. Not evil. Nothing. All phenomenons, all levels of consciousness, and all things, approved of or disapproved of, explained or unexplained, are of nature. And what is unexplained is just that: unexplained. Not understood. No more can you operate outside of nature than can a grain of sand, a tree, or a lion. You can never act outside of nature’s ways. Period. (A Natural Philosophy P. 45)
The everything and the everywhere: One and all. In the Now, all of the ingredients that compose One are included in all… from people to animals, trees, flowers, grains of sand, and specks of dust. One is in all, all is in One. Consciousness, intelligence, intelligent “life”, are universal ingredient; they are manifest in everything, everywhere. – As the two pulses act at the same time, essence is substance, cause is effect, mind is matter. – The pulses transform One into all and reunify all into One. At all times.
The tragedy: God has been made into One. But God is a One that is separate from nature/ all, matter/ all, humanity/ all. Then all forms are further separate from one another. Even when we no longer “believe”, we, for the most part, remain on the retrograde path which leads to a once upon a time first day external Originator. Separated… instead of being equal participants… from a grain of sand to a human mind… the below becomes servant to the above.
Yet.. (Regaining consciousness): We are the result of an immediate One-ness/ all-ness, presence/ absence, essence/ substance, enacted by an ever present and very real cosmic pulse. We see, hear, smell, taste, touch… One droplet of rain, One leaf of lettuce, One grain of sand, One house, One flying bird, One person, One thought, One dream, One loaf of bread, One breath.
Is who we are
As we are,
One is where all is
As it is,
Expressions are infinite.
Consciousness is infinite.
Forms (is) mind in interaction, in reflection.
The Now rewards awareness with form and mind.
(It’s about you): You are a center of existence, a point of being, a point of radiance, a point of creation, where thoughts and senses weave the fabric of the eternal instant… where and when you receive and give the elemental and the formed. As it unfolds, the Now reveals itself. Then it folds. Again, it reveals itself. Pulse by pulse, wave by wave, you sense, you think, you walk.
Awareness of the patterns, of the laws, of the ways of existence has its advantages, its rewards.

I know with absolute certainty that the god/God worshiped by the many existed… therefore I am not an atheist. I also know for a fact that this very moment of creation is complete in itself and of itself and that no behind the scene Super Being (God) exists… therefore I am not a theist. – In this creative/ retaining/ destructive instant… I am (simply) a human being.
